Venture capital firm Nauta Capital announced on October 15, 2026, a 60 million euro first close for its sixth venture fund, Nauta Tech Invest VI. HedgeCo.Net, EU-Startups, Tech Funding News, and Demócrata all reported the capital raise. The venture vehicle will focus on backing European software and deeptech startups, according to EU-Startups. The British Business Bank serves as the anchor limited partner for the fund with a 30 million euro commitment, which represents half of the first close, HedgeCo.Net and Demócrata reported. HedgeCo.Net noted that this marks the bank's fourth consecutive commitment to a Nauta fund. Additional early limited partners include SETT, Merifin Capital, and Institut Català de Finances, alongside institutional investors and family offices across Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Repeat limited partners account for three-quarters of the investors in the first close, according to HedgeCo.Net. As FTMQ Startups reported earlier, the British Business Bank has also recently backed regional technology vehicles, including a 10 million pound commitment to Fuel Ventures. [1][14]

Nauta Capital plans to reach a final size of 150 million to 200 million euros in the second half of 2027, HedgeCo.Net reported. The firm stated that achieving this target will bring its total assets under management close to 750 million euros. [1]
