YNOS Venture Engine has developed a database platform to provide funding analytics and intelligence to early-stage founders in India. The Times of India reported that the platform offers low-cost subscriptions to expand access to private market data across the country. [1]

The platform was created by Professor Thillai Rajan, who serves as the founder of YNOS Venture Engine and heads the Centre for Research on Start-ups and Risk Financing at IIT Madras. The company was incubated at the institute to build a science-based approach to market intelligence. [1]

Professor Rajan told The Times of India that while Indian startups are gaining international attention, the domestic market has historically struggled with a shortage of reliable, accessible data. The platform aims to resolve these information gaps for entrepreneurs. [1]
