Automotive software startup Flai has raised 27 million dollars in a Series A funding round, according to reports from news.lavx.hu, TechCrunch, Dealroom, Nacionale News, and the Northeast Times. The investment coincides with the company reaching a milestone of scheduling 50,000 monthly dealership appointments through its artificial intelligence software platform across both sales and service departments. TechCrunch and Nacionale News reported that the company achieved a 20-fold increase in revenue over the past 12 months. TechCrunch added that when Chief Executive Officer Ari Polakof was raising the startup's seed funding round last year, the company operated with only a three-person team that directly approached automotive dealerships to promote its software tools. [2][4][5]

Flai's software originally focused on helping car dealerships manage basic phone calls, emails, and text communications, TechCrunch reported. The company has since expanded its artificial intelligence capabilities to handle direct customer interactions, execute outbound campaigns, and automatically book customer appointments. [2][5]

According to TechCrunch, Flai currently collaborates with more than 10 of the top 50 dealership groups in the country. The company's automated software manages both inbound and outbound communication channels to support both vehicle sales operations and dealership service divisions. [2][5]
