Cerebras Systems chief executive and co-founder Andrew Feldman stated that personal artificial intelligence assistants will soon become standard household appliances, TechCrunch reported. Speaking on stage at the TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 conference on October 13, 2026, Feldman said he does not think that future is very far away. [1]
According to TechCrunch, Feldman explained that these personal artificial intelligence devices will run partly on local hardware and partly in the cloud. He cited consumer artificial intelligence agents, including Meta's Muse and the startup Instinct, which is valued at $10 billion, as evidence that the technology is making progress. [1]
At the same event, Feldman pushed back against negative warnings regarding the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, TechCrunch AI reported. Feldman argued that the industry focus on risks is overshadowing potential benefits, remarking that some prominent figures spreading doomsday narratives should perhaps not speak in public. [2]
Feldman previously co-founded SeaMicro, which Advanced Micro Devices acquired in 2012. He currently leads Cerebras Systems, a semiconductor infrastructure company known for developing the wafer-scale engine, the largest processor in computing history. [4]
