Apple is set to announce a new smart home hub named HomeView on Tuesday, TechCrunch and PCMag UK reported. The details originate from Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman. The device features an A18 chip and a display screen, and it relies on Siri to manage connected hardware. [1][2][4][6]

The HomeView hub will be released in two physical formats, TechCrunch reported. One version is built for countertops, while a second model is designed to be mounted on walls. 9to5Mac and MacRumors both reported that the product will ship in November and will come in four colors. [1][3][4]

As FTMQ Startups reported earlier, Apple has been collaborating with LG on a suite of smart home accessories to accompany the display hub.
